Student Services:

1. The purpose of student services is to help students to progress in their various types of learning.
2. Student services for which programs are established to:
1. support services designed to provide students with conditions that are conducive to learning.
2. student life services designed to foster students’ autonomy
3. counseling services designed to help students throughout their studies, with their academic and career choices, and with any difficulties they encounter;
4. promotion and prevention services designed to provide students with an environment conducive to the development of a healthy and of skills that are beneficial to their health and well-being.

Special Services

   Special services provided include the following:

1. services designed to promote student participation in school life;
2. services designed to educate students about their rights and responsibilities;
3. sports, cultural and social activities;
4. support services for the use of the documentary resources of the school library;
5. academic and career counseling and information;
6. psychological services;
7. psychoeducational services;
8. remedial education services
9. health and social services;

Organizations and Clubs

Carpenters
The official school news literary organ is published twice a year. It is run by a student staff and assisted by a faculty moderator. It taps student resources in news gathering, writing and production. Competitive examinations determine staff membership.

SJS Scout Organization
It aims to complement and supplement knowledge and experiences learned at home, school and community through fun and challenging activities, geared for service and development of well-rounded and useful individuals in a changing world.

SJS GLEE Clubs and Mini Band
It aims to intensify the development of refined taste in music especially in the art of singing and playing musical instrument. Aside from promoting desirable social attitudes and sense of responsibility from the members, the club helps foster school and community relationship through its rendition and participation in music cultural activities outside the school.

SJS Outreach Program
The club aims to promote the virtues of St. Joseph, the Carpenter, thru prayer, in-depth study of his life and work through reach-out to others especially the underprivileged as a Christian way of responding to the love of God and neighbor in Christ.

Chrysalis
This is the graduates’ yearbook. Its membership is open only for those who excel academically.

SJS Theatre Arts/Cultural
This aims to enhance students’ creativity, prowess, and skills in Theatre Arts particularly in acting and directing. It also aims to develop student’s appreciations of theatric works.

SJS Student Government
This aims to enhance student’s leadership skills, initiative and to develop sense of responsibility and obligation.
